A full service menu

Oldtimer Studio offers a full range of services to keep your car in competitive condition: adjustments, oil and consumable changes, greasing at manufacturer-specified intervals, Teroson cavity sealing, polishing, and pre-event inspections.

Hidden-cavity wax protection

As a recent addition, we offer major body protection by injecting wax into inaccessible cavities — longitudinal members (sills), door skins, and bonnet interiors. This technique is now used by the world's leading auto manufacturers. It dramatically slows the return of surface corrosion and extends the life of a freshly restored car.

Parts we keep in stock

We routinely stock wear components for Mercedes-Benz, Jaguar, MG, and Aro M461 — so routine service doesn't stall waiting on parts. Other marques are serviced by arrangement.

Frequently asked

Maintenance — your questions, answered.

Do I need to book maintenance in advance?

For a simple oil service we can usually fit you in within a week; for pre-event inspections and detailing we recommend booking 4–6 weeks out.

How often should I bring my classic in?

Owner-driven cars benefit from an annual inspection and pre-winter storage prep. Event cars should come in before and after each major rally or concours.

What does a pre-event inspection cover?

Brake system, steering and suspension wear, fluid levels and condition, wheel bearings, cooling system, lighting, and a road test. We provide a signed check-sheet afterwards.

Is cavity wax protection reversible?

Cavity wax is designed to bond to the metal long-term. It doesn't damage paint or underlying structure — but we rarely need to remove it. If a future restoration calls for full chassis strip, we include wax removal in that scope.

Do you service marques outside your stocked list?

Yes — for marques we don't routinely stock, we pre-order parts once we've seen the car and agreed the scope. Expect an additional 1–2 week lead time on the first visit.

Can you collect the car and return it?

Yes — we offer pickup and delivery via our Transport service, particularly useful if the car isn't road-legal or cannot be driven safely.
